For those who don't know what Splicers is. Splicers is a setting in Palladium that is mostly based on Hard Science to the point that the planet is magically dead. It's a story set in a post-apocalypse where a global but unorganized resistance of humans fight against what I can best describe as a world governmental A.I. gone rogue by multiple personality disorder. Now Humanity has to rely heavily on extremely advanced Bio-Technology to the point of having Living Armors, Host Armor (Living Power armor), Weapons, and War Mounts that take the place of vehicles, one of which looks like a three Headed Dragon. This Guy below. And the Dragon is a heavy Assualt troop transport that Outriders can upgrade further. Host Armors are very customizable, and each one (The Host Armor) can have different metabolisms that serve to power the armor. And the Various O.C.C.s have different customization options with their equipment, War Mounts, or themselves. (Host armor and Dracos war mount) Now, why does humanity need such advanced biotech when they could just destroy robots and built vehicles and weapons from them? Well, they did that in the beginning, but N.E.X.U.S., the aforementioned Rogue A.I., created a nanobot plague that activates whenever any animal tissue touches common metal and metal alloys. Only rare/precious metals such as gold are unaffected, as well as ceramics, plastics, etc. And note this is a Mega-Damage setting which means yes, the Resistance has access to Mega-Damage ceramics and plastics, but the biotech is better. However, one of the main reasons the resistance has not won is because they are literally outnumbered by what I can safely say, 100,000? 500,000? to one, give or take. The only humans that can safely touch metal are Technojackers, who can manipulate the nanites to do things like create Mega-Damage armor, jury rig technology, and even take control of robots for a time and safely use robot weapons. And I have the supplement that expands on their powers. While magic and psionics are possible in that world, they're not that powerful, and the magical deadness is to the point where magical creatures that do somehow end up on the Planet are likely to commit suicide because that is how wrong the planet feels to them. The Time will be at 12:00PM HST Though it says the game will start next month, I will be starting earlier once I have enough players and their characters are made. Currently, the Group has a Dread Guard (the Setting's Glitterboy, but they are not the only ones who get Host Armor), A Delivery Man (A stealthy scout that also has Host Armor), and a Scarecrow (a superhuman assassin/spy who work for the Librarians of the resistance, drinks the Elixir of life to gain/maintain their powers). Don't be afraid to select an O.C.C. that someone else has selected. Considering that almost all the armor (Even the Technojaker's nano armors light and heavy) can regenerate their M.D.C. and items call slap-patches exist and work on living armors etc. (super bandaids). Don't feel like you have to select a role that someone is not filling. Feel free to ask me more about the Splicers setting. And the link to the LFG is below, which also includes the List with a short description for Each O.C.C., and if you insist on playing a O.C.C. from a different setting I'm not saying no but! unless said character is in an environmentally sealed suit or a cyborg whose organs are cut off from outside exposure and wear, a ton of metal expect them to die quickly...Trust me on this that Nano Plague is no joke, it even prevents you from indirectly using common metals. https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/340628/splicers
