Changing Avatar Photo In Game

As a player I used to be able to go to my character sheet while in game and edit my photo and it would automatically update my avatar photo while camera is off. Now it seems I can only do this by going to my actual account profile. The problem with this is I am a player in a few different campaigns so I have to change it frequently in my profile vs. it automatically being saved individually to each campaign from my character sheet. Has something changed, or is this a setting issue?

I don't think you could ever edit your character sheet photo to change your avatar photo. I remember that people have always had to change avatar image via the profile page.  But, I'll play with it and ask around, maybe something changed, then reverted, when I wasn't looking. Edit: found what you were looking for, go to the chat tab, change your "As" to your character, it changes your in-game profile image to your character sheet's image.

Yeah, this was functionality I never used since we just go 'names only' to save on screen space. Happy to help.

Hi VickeeLeigh! Change the "Speaking As" in the Chat Window to your character name. It will update to match. Note, your character name might be the same as your Player name—settable in the settings tab—so be sure to choose the right one. If you choose your player name, it will use your Roll20 avatar. If you use your character sheet name, it will use that. If they are identical, there may be confusion (duplicate names in the drop down), but one of them will do what you want.

Keith was faster ;) Below the chat you have the "Speaking as" option dropdown. Just select the lowest option (if you are player), this will change your avatar to the picture of the Character sheet...
