At what point is a particular system considered for being part of the list of games?

I searched a bit and found that the game list is generally added to when a game that's sufficiently popular comes around. I've noticed quite a few discussions and lfg posts about Stars Without Number in the last month. Is there possibility that it is popular enough to merit its own tag, or does a game system have to have long sustaining popularity to be considered?

Roughly: When a LFG search for games using that system will always produce a result.
But since this platform lives of the community, and i belive it would not be much work to add some games. Wouldn't it be more interesting to give ppl more choises of games, so that ppl looking for a spezific will at least find the posibility?

The games list is not an indicator of what can be played, or even an absolute list of what is being played on Roll20. People used to be able to type out the name of the game system they were using in the LFG listings. This created chaos as there were half a dozen entries for the same version of game. The current system standardizes the listings. If you have a game that is not represented please use the "Other Games" option and then enter the name of your game system in the listing's title or description. If a game becomes popular enough to always produce a result then it will be added to the formal list.
Hey Gauss! Have you guys considered putting a stick in the 'Suggestions' subforum that addresses this issue? I mean, I see it getting posted a lot, and it might save you time in the long run.

I am not a Developer and thus I cannot speak to what the Devs may or may not consider. :)
