[LFG][Any] 2 Experienced Players looking for text-based live games or text communities.

Hello, Feel free to ask for more information if needed. I look around often on roll20 and other LFG sites. but it seems text-based gaming has died down a bit.  We are NOT looking for PBP. We like to play DnD (or any other TTRPG systems), with a set day and time, just while writing character's voices and actions out in text. Usually the DM narrates in text. Sometimes we do a hybrid where all narration and dialogue is in text but combats are in voice. Hence "live text" games. We are in EST and looking for a weekend or weekday evening game. Currently we are not available Saturday 12-4pm and Thursdays. There may also be an issues with Tues or Wed coming up in the future so ideally this would be either a Monday, Friday, or Sunday game, but we can try to be flexible.  Also, if anyone knows of any online gathering spaces for people interested in text TTRPGs, please let me know, it would be nice just to meet others again. There used to be a roll20/Discord group along those lines (Knights of the Written Word) but it has died out. If you are someone who likes text gaming and is looking for the same thing, let me know, I'm not opposed to starting one.  A bit about us: -Longtime, experienced roleplayers. 10+ years and 15+ years.  -We prefer Roleplay Heavy campaigns with an emphasis on character development, party interaction and a "living in the world" feeling. Prefer Homebrew campaigns, also open to Homebrew settings. -We will play 5e if it is what is on the table, but we have experience with a huge range of TTRPGs and would love to get a change from 5e. Always willing to try new systems or play with people new to a system (as long as they can type fast and have roleplay experience). Think WOD, Shadow of the Demon Lord, Dark Heresy, PF, Shadowrun, Burning Wheel, and more.  -Thematically, we like "on the ground games." That means not being famous heroes and no "end of the world and you're the only ones who can stop it" plots. I don't need to be special, or famous. We like mundane, mysterious, and intriguing stories. Would love to start in a jail cell or on the road or in a seedy underbelly and get mixed up in something exciting and mysterious... as long as it doesn't HAVE to lead to becoming heroes. We are big on thematic themes of taking the mundane and turning it interesting - often playing humans, but with lots of depth and background connecting them to the setting theyre in. I don't want to fight a dragon in every game. We also really, really like unique stories, plot structures, and settings.  -We are not a huge fan of exotic races. We can tolerate a strange party member if we have to but we do not want to play in a homebrew setting that is full of bird and turtle people. That stems from what I said above about our thematic preferences.  -Really hoping to either find a longterm game with a group we feel good about, or at least meet other people interested in text roleplay so maybe games can be formed in the future.  -Must be LGBT+ friendly, not a bigot, etc.  Thanks for reading! You can DM me on here and I'm happy to send my discord and continue any conversations there.

This comes at a time when I'm trying, for perhaps the sixth time, to set up a long term game in this style. It is extremely difficult to find, as you say. If there is such a community out there which collectively values live-text games, I'd love to know about it as well. Preferably not one with all of the issues "Knights of the Written Word" had.
Yeah, I'm excited to GM a text-based real time campaign with the right group. I hope something comes of this!
Hi I will try a text based game if it works in with UK time and on a weekday evening or weekend morning local time here.
So sorry y'all I thought I had email notifications setup for roll20! Going to look at DMs right now.
I had "Friendly B." above contact me about a game listing and try to sell me on the complete opposite of one of the hard aspects I was looking for in a game. Presenting a (predictable) lack of interest, I found that I had been blocked by the user in question. Just an experience, for your information, in case you wanted to gauge this person's attitude before playing with them.
