GM Pointing Tool

Just as the title says, a tool to easily point to locations that is more precise and solid than the short ping. I find that when I am trying to indicate something on the map as GM, the ping is fine for a general area, but when you are attempting to point at something specific it becomes arduous. A token specific to this can be made, but tokens get in the way and clog the map, which is why a pointing tool accessible with a keystroke would be nice.
Excellent suggestion. I really don't like having to use the Alice's Restaurant* method when pointing out map details. *  "twenty seven eight-by-ten c olor glossy pictures with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back  of each one"

I just use the ruler for this sort of thing when ping isn't specific enough.
I also use ruler for pointing out things as it can point very precisely, can point from origin to destination, can point a route (with waypoints) and can be left sticked onto screen with pressing SHIFT while pointing.
