Handouts in the Journal Can't Be Opened More than Once

I am not able to open journal entries more than once during a session on Roll 20. The first time I click on a journal entry, it opens in a new window fine, but if I close that window and click on the same entry again, it does not load. I've made sure the window is not still open and I can access the entry again (just once) if I reload. Also, before when I would use the "show to players" function, a copy of the journal entry would also appear on my screen as a GM. Now, that is also no longer occuring.  The problem started a few days ago and repeats on Chrome and Firefox. I've cleared my cache and am not running any extensions and am only using windows defender anti-virus. 

This is a known bug and is only there if you use Chrome! This bug is NOT present in Firefox and can be circumvented by disabling "Pop Out for Characters" Option in Settings! I don't know exactly for how long this has been a thing but it came with a change of Chrome by Google... Hi Jesse! This has actually been a bug for several years now. Popped out windows of several kinds do not re-open. For journals (handouts and character sheets), there are two options: 1) do not pop them out into their own windows. The automatic behavior can be set on the settings tab in your game. 2) Make sure the external window has focus (click on it). Instead of closing it, reload the window. It's been a while since I tested this, but the window should go blank, it can then be closed. You can re-open it normally afterwards. Edit: Option 2 no longer works. Sigh...

Thanks so much! Somehow, the popout setting got toggled on. I'm not sure why it wasn't working on firefox (maybe I just didn't see the popout window when I tested, as I usually don't use that browser). But that fixed it.
