Stone Punk (Neolithic/Ice age) interest setting

Well before recorded history there existed a city called Nuun and had achieved much. They existed in a valley protected on nearly every side by their mountain home. The grand avenue cutting through the caves and roads to Nuun collapsed and the city fell into ruin. Whatever event caused the disaster also caused the ice to melt and the great valley flooded now only the highest towers are above the crystal clear water. That water saps the heat from all that it touches and so the ruins remain undisturbed as no life exists within that newly formed lake. Humanity still goes on trying to survive in a land of mega fauna and danger. With the loss of Nuun so to went advanced medicine and construction. The use of stone tools and weapons is now the most common with metal weapons being incredibly rare relics. There will be dinosaurs, reptoids, Gorilla/Ape-Men and other components of a Lost World setting. Characters would originate from the same area. The dominate area is built on a lone mesa with tent homes around ancient holy site (similar to Gobekli Tepe) so the old stone construction of perhaps the city-state of Nuun. Tribes roam the Sea of Grass with limited farming relying mostly on hunting and fishing for survival needs. Gaining the right to own a mount is a high honor in the various tribes in the grass sea. Game would involve tracking supplies and ammo as needed while dealing with the threats to the Grass Sea tribes. Collaboration on making up the tribes is encouraged.
Any interest? As for setting I am considering DnD as a potential rule set, but willing to consider others. Most of the races will be human variants that fill the role of other races (but there will be other races).
Id love to try this with Savage Worlds. Its perfect.
That could work so could Cypher System, Conan (by Modiphus) all could work as well
I'd be very interested depending on the time. As far as the system that should be use, D&D 5e could work with a good deal of homebrew. If you like the PBTA formula, you could slap a pre-historic coat of paint over Apocalypse World.
I thought I had the Savage World books but I cannot find them in my drive. I do have the other systems I mentioned.
I am interested in trying this. System doesn't matter to me I'll learn play whatever works for you.
Any other suggestions for a rule set? If we are set on Savage Worlds I can get the core book at least.

I'm interested and don't care about rule system, either.
Any particular benefits to any given system? And the corresponding cons?
