Wanting to play a modern/scifi game

I'm looking for something that's RP heavy with a strong emphasis on character development and investigation. I love combat but I don't really want it to be the focal point of the game. If anyone know's of any campaigns please feel free to reply or pm me. I'm experienced with 3.5/PF/4e, NWOD and a tiny bit of Savage Worlds. I'm also open to learning new systems.
Thought about Shadowrun?
I have but I'm not a huge fan of the fantasy/magic that's attached to it. Don't get me wrong I'm sure its awesome and I've only ever heard good thigns about it but I'm kinda burnt out on fantasy/magic.

Have you heard about Stars without Numbers? It's essentially a open sci-fi game meant to played in a style like Firefly, Star Wars, or Star Trek. http://tinyurl.com/nnourrg I've been wanting to play a game of that for a bit.
what times&days are you free and what time zone are you?
No I cant say I have, though the concept sounds pretty cool. As for the time and days I'm available monday-friday any time after 4pm est. Weekends are a toss up and I cant do anything on saturdays until after 7pm est.

Scifi modern eh? what about a Boderlands-like setting? w/ a hint of magic
If it's identical to borderlands I'll have to pass, not really looking for a post apocalyptic setting.
Just bumping this thread, hoping to find the right game. xD
Hope you don't mind me dropping in and noting my interest in such a game! If anyone needs a player for a sci-fi setting, send me a pm... please.... I need something....... *sob*
Eh, we got three people if we want to play. If we can get a DM to play, we can make a game.
I've been thinking of running my D20 Modern game on Roll20. The premise was a group of people falling together due to a disruption on the road and trying to "figure things out." If you know how to play DND 3.x you pretty much know how the D20 rules work. But, perhaps a deal breaker, I do use the magic system in Modern.

You might like Spirit Fall. Its an entirely homebrew system set in a post-apocalyptic New York City ravaged by actual, living, tangible demons. No one understands why or how, all they understand is the demons want their complete and utter annihilation. As a survivor in New York City, you would interact with others with one purpose: live to see tomorrow. I'd prefer it if you spoke English fluently and had a microphone. I run this game every friday and currently have 3 other players. Don't worry about the rules, they are simple and I can cover all of them in a few minutes at the most. Just PM me back if you are interested! I'm looking for one or two more players to join in. I know you said that you don't like post-apocalyptic settings, but I just wanted to toss my hat in anyways.
Currently, my group and I are playing a Heroes Unlimited game (part of the Palladium Megaverse). It adapts really well to superhero and scifi settings, and is relatively low magic. We play every other Sunday. We also play AD&D 2E, D&D 3.5E, and (eventually) D&D 5E, but right now we're on Heroes Unlimited. PM me if you want an invite to the campaign.
hey Audry, here's a free bump... and have you found anything yet? looking for something similar myself.
