Question about Dynamic Lighting and Plus membership

I am a DM for a game but the Owner of the session is not able to purchase membership. Can I join as a Plus member and provide Dynamic Lighting even if our Owner is not a member? Or should I just gift him membership?
The creator of each game is what determines whether paid membership options are available in that game. So you as a 'player' (even though you have been promoted to GM status) with a Plus membership cannot activate Dynamic Lighting in the game.   If you are the DM, why don't you create the game yourself?

Hi Prothias! The features of a game are determined by the game creator. Even if you subscribe at Plus, this won't add Plus features to a game you did not create. You have three options: 1) Subscribe to Plus, and create your own game. (You should be able to use the Character Vault to move PCs over. 2) Gift the creator of the game a Pro subscription. 3) Write to Roll20 in a  Help Center Request , and explain your situation. In the past, they have occasionally, and with the permission of both parties, transferred ownership of a game. This may not be possible if it is based on a purchased module, or uses an addon adventure. Or it may be a policy they only occasionally allow. But it's worth a try.

Hello! The creator of the game recently got sick but he was originally the DM before that and bought a module for us and created the game. Since he is away, he requested I takeover for now. Since I didn't have the module myself, creating a new game would be hard.

Yeah I thought this was the case. 1. Oh I didn't know you can just move stuff from one game to another? is this what " All Access Character Vault" meant? Tbh, we have a lot of homebrew monsters and items so I wonder by how much can I transfer? Just Sheets of my players or could I take everythnig with me? 2. This seems like the best option too! Me and my friends will look into this. 3. Alright! I'll give this one a too. Thank you Everyone!
