Backstory - Descendent of Brothers Grimm two legendary mages of the Mysterium that specialized in Matter and Death Arcana respectfully - The brothers created a sect of Mysterium that takes a hunter's bent on the supernatural while focusing on learning more info and neutralizing threats. - Merric since a young age has been a prodigy in magic and took to both schools of arcana of his ancestors easily.  - The mysterium watch and take care to make sure he follows in his ancestor's footsteps and adds to the knowledgebase of the supernatural world while neutralizing threats to mages and human alike from that world. - He inherited the Grimoire of his ancestors that holds the accumulated knowledge of magic and supernatural creatures that the sect has accumulated over the years. - He loves to learn more about the supernatural but he is hesitant to treat the supernatural as threats, He wants to learn more to change the view of the Mysterium that the other supernatural can be treated as equal and as allies to mages and humans. - He has a merry attitude despite his focus on death and decay. He enjoys socializing and experiencing life in the everyday moment as he knows how close death truly is. - Medical School student

Spells Death's Compass (Death o ) Practice:  Knowing Primary Factor:  Duration Suggested Rote Skills: Investigation, Occult, Empathy Effect: When you have a soul in a receptacle (such as Soul Jar) the soul can communicate (vibrate, inner voice, etc.) with the caster when the soul is near(size of a block?) the cause of its death if it was external (murder, accident, etc.). Add   Space(o): The receptacle will tug or point directly towards the cause not just notify proximity. Scrying (Space oo) Practice: Ruling Primary Factor: Duration Suggested Rote Skills: Computers, Occult, Subterfuge Effect:  By means of this spell, the mage parts the curtain of the Lie and reveals a distant location to her senses. She creates a “window” that allows her to perceive the subject, much like a television screen. When she casts the spell, she may choose whether the spell is one way, or whether people at the location can see back through the window. When casting this spell sympathetically, exactly what the mage sees depends on the sympathetic Yantra she employs. Sympathy to a location shows her a broad overview of the area, analogous to a cinematic wide shot, but one that remains static. Sympathy to a person or object tends to show a “close up” of the subject — the window will follow the subject if it moves, but the mage may not be able to make out details of where the subject is or who else might be present. When cast on a subject within sensory range, the scrying window gives the mage a view as though she were standing right next to the subject. The mage can move this view around as a reflexive action to view the target from any angle she wants. Casting spells on subjects the mage can see through the window counts as viewing them remotely. Add Fate ••: The mage may make the scrying window selectively one-way, allowing only specific people to perceive her from the other side of the window.
