We had only just managed to collect our belongings when the door of the inn was kicked in. "Nobody move! You foreign scum will come with us now before anyone else gets hurt." The order was not taken well by my colleagues and arrows started to fly and tables were jumped under for cover. Samba jumped to his feet to try and calm the situation but after running through the streets he was exhausted. "Come on guys. What are we doing? Squabbling, bickering, like children. We never used to be like this." But after the recent events no one was prepared to listen. "Shut it Fancy-pants! Take that." and another guard rushed in to strike at us. Looking like there were more guards I rushed to secure the back exit only to see another squad preparing to come though. I grabbed a chair and hastily made a barricade to jam the door. The guards, though, were so intent on our capture, that one just smashed the door to pieces as another came crashing through the window. It was not looking good and we decided it would be best to get out. I help the backline while Nickolai and Eldon made their way to the front door where Lia and Samba were fighting their way through to an escape route. Wrendell scouted from the air leading us west through the narrow alleys and twisting streets to the edge of town where we managed to find a hiding spot while the guards eventually lost our scent.  Later in the afternoon we skulked through the dunes to the Necropolis arriving easily before nightfall. The gravebinders were slightly surprised that we asked to stay the night but were willing to accomodate us because we were going to help them out the next day. That night the sounds of creeping and scratching were somewhat unsettling. I tried to distract the group by covering the sounds from outside with my own sounds of sharpening weapons and reconditioning armour. While working and reflecting on the events of the last few weeks I had a vision from my mistress Rava.  A wave of positivity washed over me and the feeling of getting closer to our goal and putting an end to the undead threat. The next morning the gravebinders returned to the hall to discuss our plans to investigate a suspicious tomb near the centre of the grave yard. Before we set off for the tomb we made a stop off at the tower of the Sphinx to get any information that could prove helpful. We had to answer a series of riddles before the old sphinx would reveal his secrets which was quite amusing.  Though he had no great advice, he did grant a few of us a magical favour to be called on during the day.
