Can't reference user defined attribute?

I'm playing Starfinder, we're using the Starfinder v1.0071566306000 character sheet.   I'm playing a Vanguard and made an attribute called "entropy" to track my entropy points, my DM linked that to the red circle on my token so I could track the points there.   My character is supposed to get an AC bonus if I have at least 1 entropy point, so I tried adding "+@{entropy} to KAC" to the mod section of the ability that covers using entropy points, set my entropy attribute to 1 (I had an idea how to limit this to 1 later, just wanted to keep it simple to start) and nothing changed in my KAC.   To verify my syntax was correct and that I was doing this in the correct area I changed the line to "+@{wealth} to KAC" and my characters KAC went up by however many credits the character had.  So I know my syntax is correct, and I know that I'm doing this in the correct place, but for some reason I can only reference character sheet attributes that came with the character sheet?   Is there a way to fix this?
No. The Starfinder sheet is picky over which buffs will display on the sheet and which buffs are only visible in rolls. In particular it has a list of attributes it considers for displaying buffs meaning no custom attributes. Since AC is only ever shown and not rolled it cannot be buffed with custom attributes.
That's disappointing to hear, thanks for saving me the aggravation of troubleshooting this further though.

Yep, unfortunately, it was the best I could do.
