About the adventure This adventure for many is the best module of D&D 5e, the reasons are: Very immersive setting with plenty of characters and a deep lore to explore. I have myself DM this more than 10 times and every single time is a new exciting experience. The type of gameplay you can expect from this module is a complete sandbox in a valley of dread and fog where the sun never shines named Barovia. Undeath, night, hunger and hopeless are the main theme here. This adventure is dark indeed but not in the bad way, as the hero of this story you are the beacon of hope that shall bright upon this dread land.
