I have a player that insists on using 3d dice, however, his computer is too slow to properly handle it, so I need to wait 15 seconds for a result each time he rolls something. It would be nice if I could disable them campaign wide.
I think it is more prone to happen on very large maps, or maps with a lot of objects, or maps with freehand dynamic lighting (<--avoid this). Experiment a bit with those things and see if it helps. For maps with a lot of objects, you can also group them together, which I think can help.
+1 I thought it would be nice to have an option of smaller dice, just so I don't have to clear my journal pages whenever I roll to see the dice. An "always on top" dice tray that pops up, and then goes away would be great.
On the subject of 3d dice it would be nice if there was a timeout to force them to stop rolling if they get stuck vibrating due to a random physics bug. Once that happens no one can complete any rolls
