Having to reassign Players to tokens even though their linked to their sheets

Hello, I was wondering if there is a way to just pull in a token that's been assigned to a player and have them instantly assigned to it. My players each have a specific token that they use for play, their character sheets are attached to them and everything, but every time I drop their token into a new map I have to assign that token to the players. its starting to bog the game down with how many players i have. Thank you!

Hi Dale! The greatest likelihood is that you are missing a step in setting up a default token. Saving the default token is the final step in the procedure. Any changes made after that don't count.
