Get the dimensions of a purchased map

I purchased the Castle Sassent map pack, but when a paste the map art, it comes up as a 1x1 square. Is there any way to get the dimensions of the original art?

Hi Alex-Blackhand! That's a toughie. They are not very well designed for VTT use. There is a huge amount of wasted space on the upper portion of many maps, and they have no cue to the intended resolution or number of grid squares. You can get the original dimensions by pressing the Z key with the map selected and right clicking to open the image in a new tab. The first map is 3200x9234 pixels, which is A) Huge and B) useless, since there is no indication anywhere the intended number of pixels per square. It is not the Roll20 default of 70px/unit. I would contact the artist and ask them how they intended it to be used. You could make the page very large, scale it left to right, and then top to bottom until it fits the grid, but in reality, this map will likely not perform well if you attempt to dynamically light it. It would be better if each floor were its own map. Anyway, I can get it to roughly line up with the grid at 3649 x 8614 pixels, but the corners of the image don't intersect the grid edges. Right click to set it as "Is Drawing" to prevent snap, set it to those dimensions on a 53 x 123 unit page. The upper left edge will not quite be at the upper left corner of the page, so you'll need to eyeball it into position. This is for the first map. I don't know if the other maps were scanned identically.
