I
go by Red and I've been playing pathfinder on and off for about 7 years
and at this point I have mostly DMed. I'm looking to be a player again
and a friend that is a player of mine wants to join me. Although I
prefer pathfinder I am also willing to learn D&D5E. I am looking for
a game that is either a book or a homebrew campaign as long as it
doesn't stray too far from the traditional fantasy setting. I like more
roleplay than combat and find it fun when people are able to bounce off
of each other in RP. I typically play casters or half casters as I just
find the mechanics and background possibilities more interesting and I
would want to know more about the setting before pitching an idea as I
like them to seem more like part of the world after I have had a little
inspiration. Most people call me
Guy or The_Guy based on my discord name. I've been playing TTRPGs for
about 4 years give or take. I’m a 20-year-old dude that has plenty of
free time on his hands, also a fan of video games and various music
types, always looking to expand my taste as well as share my own. The
systems I have played have mainly been Pathfinder and D&D 5e. I'm
usually willing to take any party role that is needed in a campaign but I
prefer to play frontline fighters or general support casters, and the
current character on the docket right now is either a monk, bard, or
druid (I honestly can’t decide). In terms of settings, I'm fine with the
usual fantasy ones but I don’t really jive with high-tech settings. I
like to roleplay a lot in TTRPGS probably one of my favorite things to
do followed by combat. I'm a 50/50 or 70/30 guy when it comes to
roleplay and combat usually.
