Google Chrome lags hard and Roll20 does not recognize it

Hi guys, Since 3 months ago, I´m getting more and more Problems with Chrome (Opera was just a bit better). At first it was getting kinda slow. After a few weeks, I´ve been getting stuck in the Loading Screen for 20-30 refreshes. And for the last 6-7 weeks it was lagging so hard, it was nearly impossible to play (everything is getting worse since a Roll20 uptade a few months ago) Today the game even told me dat I am using an unsupported browser - while I was using Google Chrome. I have a 250k connection and a midrange PC and everything works fine - just not Roll20 And every few weeks its getting worse. PLS help

Have you checked to be sure that hardware acceleration is enabled in your browser? If it is, you might try turning it off and then back on again, since some browser addons can mess with that in the background. If you haven't already, you might also want to try using a private/incognito window. If that works better, then you likely have a browser addon that is causing problems with Roll20.

Here are some steps for you to try: 1) Try using Roll20 in an Incognito tab. If it works better that way then the problem is probably you have an extension that is interfering. 2) Go t ype "chrome://gpu" (without quotes) in your address bar and see if your WebGL is either disabled or running at reduced performance. 3) Go to https://get.webgl.org/ and see if you can see a spinning 3d box. Please report back what you see for #2 and #3. 4) Turn on your Hardware Acceleration if it is off. Here is a guide on how to do that . 5) Try Firefox, see if the problem is happening there.
