Alternative to subscriptions

I realise a subscription model works best for roll20.net, but I have deep seated reservations against the subscription model. Amongst the personal reasons is the possibly more rational reason that I don't want to feel pressured to play while the clock is ticking - if our group doesn't want to meet more than once a month then it becomes more expensive. I have bought permanent status (at a significant premium) at other online sites and was wondering if such an option might become available on roll20.net at some point? I would love to be able to support you guys and get the enhancements in a way other than through a subscription - let me know! Thanks in advance :)

There's not Permanent offered currently. Good suggestion though. There is buying 1 year at a time, which comes with a discount. The nearest to what you asked is to buy 1 year at a time & "cancel" immediately. This way it will not be a recurring subscription, and will continue uninterrupted for the full year. You would still have to decide after 1 year, if you want to re-up.
