Macro works in one game but doesn't work in the other?

I have a problem with some of my macro's where the work in one game but don't work in the other even tho I just copy and pasted them . I tried clearing chat archive but this does nothing any idea of what it could be?
While copying, you need to select the sheet to use. If you have NOT done that, the Macro cannot work, because there are not attributes to call for! In the Copy of your game, go to the Game Settings and check, if the character sheet is selected. If not, select the sheet you use for your Base game. After that, the macro should work as intended... I really don't get, why the Character sheet to use is NOT copied over when using the Copy function for whole games...
I would do that if it's a specific character, these however are for which token is selected. Also to be clear these are different 5e games but I don't think that should make a difference.

If this was a macro stored in the collections tab, did it originally have html substitutions in it?  If so, then opening the macro editor causes the html replacements to resolve to the normal characters.  If you have the original saved somewhere as a plain text file, you might double check to be sure that everything is correct between there and the game you are having issues with.

It might help if you were to post the text of a couple of macros that are not working. Besides the issues above, there is also the possibility that they reference absolute IDs, rather than relative attributes. Moving macros from one campaign to another is one of the many good reasons for employing a  Macro Character Sheet .
