Text box not scaling

8 months ago, someone posted on this bug report: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/10699637/slug%7D , saying that the issue of the chat text input box not scaling was a bug that was going to be fixed in a few days. It's not fixed today. Personally, while it's slightly annoying, I don't care that much, but someone on reddit was just posting a request for an alternative to Roll20 that didn't have this issue, so perhaps someone might want to look at it again. https://www.reddit.com/r/rpg/comments/yn2j3o/looking_for_alternative_to_roll20_with_a_few_key/

Hi Ray! I'm pretty sure it was fixed, and this is a new instance. In any case, you might want to add your voice to the reports in this thread .

It appears to no longer be a child element of the rightsidebar, which is a rather baffling thing to do. You can fix it temporarily by dropping down the rightsidebar <div> in devtools, then dragging the textchat-input div inside & giving it a 97% width: That's admittedly a pretty annoying operation to be performing every refresh.
Thanks a ton for the that temporary solution! Yes, it's annoying to do each time but still a huge gain in comfort for our very text-heavy campaign. You made at least one group of players very happy.

Here is another Bugs thread with numerous Roll20 users that's been up for a week, No acknowledgement from Roll20 whatsoever, https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/11171190/hi-please-stop-fiddling-with-chat-input-box-size/ Does roll20 even read their own Bug forum anymore, or has that stopped completely for some reason?
Hey everyone, We've got eyes on this. That breakdown is helpful Oosh, very much appreciated! I've made sure that is passed along to the development team while they continue to look into this.
