Hello, Hellooo! As the title states, I'm a player who had fallen out of playing for a bit and recently got the itch to want to play again. However, I'm a bit of an awkward bean and never really know how to sell myself to DM's to take me on into their little world. So I'm just going to word vomit here, and hopefully, the right person sees it, and things work out for the best XD A little about me, My name is Jaqui [She/Her] (Tho some call me Myth, depending on the crowd) I'm 28 years old and have played a few games I can count on one hand, including The Curse of Strahd for D&D 5e and a few homebrews that fizzled out over time. While I am a bit rusty, I do have physical copies of the PHB and a few others and am quick to learn. I've always been drawn towards a more story-centered game and never really paid much mind towards farming XP for the fasted way to level up. Generally, I enjoy a table that plays out similarly to how you would see Critical Role or something along those lines, however more lenient when I don't toss out some award-winning new voice for a character because, HAHA yeah, I could never. I only have a small amount of experience playing D&D 5e though am open to other games similar to it if they're willing to work with me to understand how everything works. As I said, I learn quickly. I'm not one to shy away from dark themes, Mature content, and things of that nature. As long as it's not done in a malicious way and improves character development and the story. With that said, I don't have any triggers. Honestly, I just kind of go with the flow and let it all take me where it pleases. My timezone is EST and I am flexible with when I can play at long as it is more toward the evening of my time. (4 Pm to later). I have discord and am able to do voice there, but no video.
