Instant Sandbox: Havendale Need a quick setting for an adventure? Or sudden sandbox for an impromptu game? No time to make one? No problem! Here's your solution! What is a sandbox? In the table top RPG sense (and perhaps elsewhere), a sandbox simply is where the DM stocks a detailed setting--large or small--with encounters and dungeon crawls; where the players can pick their adventures by pointing to a spot on the map and saying, "Let's go there!" It can be inserted into any campaign. And any dungeon can be inserted into the sandbox. This includes several pages of sandboxes all connected to the same local setting. While each area can be fleshed out by you with your own ideas, the handouts included a suggested story, situation or background connected to the site. It also includes an index of hyperlinks to help you find the information you're looking for as quickly and easily as possible. Just add stories ! IMPORTANT NOTE: This is not an adventure path or module , but a sandbox setting. You will need the 5E Players Handbook (PHB) and DMs Guide as well as the Monster Manual (MM) to run this Sandbox. Roll20 Functions Pages: this game is comprised of multiple Pages arranged in the Page Toolbar, like the pages from a storybook or the scenes on a storyboard. The first place your players will arrive at when they log in is the Start Page. From there you'll switch pages to the different maps as needed. Journal and Handouts: Handouts containing location information and suggested situations and events are located in the Journal. Where applicable, these handouts will also contain information in the GM Notes section towards the bottom. You can decide which handouts your players can see and those they're not permitted to see. There's an index of hyperlinks to the information you need, placing it at your finger tips. Inspiration Cards: This adventure comes with a bonus deck of Inspiration Cards that you can deal to your players. It's a nice and quick reference in seeing who has Inspiration and who has none. But you don't have to use them; you can simply hide the deck.
