Looking for a DM to host a one shot game for a bunch of complete newbies

Howdy! As the title says, I'm looking for a DM to host a one shot game for my buds and I. It would be around 4-5 people (4's been confirmed, 5th's a maybe) and we are absolutely completely new to D&D, or just TTRPG's in general. Hoping to have a game by next Saturday, November 19th around 6:00PM EST, either D&D 5e or pathfinder perhaps? Time might be flexible depending on circumstances (Life and all that). Honestly, I have no idea how any of this works yet (none of us do really) so I'm sorry if we are a bit of an handful! Some things that might be useful info: #1: Most of us don't have any webcams, so just a heads up for people that require both voice and video. #2: We do not have access to any player hand books, and I am unaware if they are a requirement for playing. (If they are, please do say!) #3: We do use discord! If that is your preferred app for communication, your in luck! And that's all really, if you need more info, do ask!

I'm kind of intrigued. Are you just looking for a single game then are going to move on to never play again?  May I ask general age range of the players? 

We're dipping our feet in the water a bit here, not looking for a campaign just yet. Just seeing how things go, ya know? If we think it's our cup of tea then we'll probably do a campaign! And we're all over 18+, oldest is 25, youngest being 18. I'm personally 21.

I can probably have something together for a 1 shot by that time. Heck, maybe by this weekend. Is slightly earlier start time, say around 5PM EST workable?

I believe I have the perfect adventure for your group! It's called "A Most Potent Brew" and it's a first level introductory game by Winghorn Press designed to work with the Basic D&D 5e ruleset (available as a free pdf from the WoTC website). I've ran it a handful of time, and I find it's absolutely perfect for newcomers, and gives them a well rounded TTRPG experience. We've got combat, puzzles, roleplay and light dungeon diving. Delve your very first dungeon beneath the Wizard's Tower Brewery The party is sent to deal with a problem that should be instantly familiar to all rookie adventurers - exterminating giant rats that have taken up residence in a beer cellar. However, if they are to achieve their goal our heroes are going to have to get their first taste of a real dungeon as they explore the ruins of an ancient Wizard’s Tower. If this is something that sounds agreeable, and you haven't made any other arrangements with other DM's, do let me know!
