[LFG][BFRPG][OSR Text/VTT Only] Hardcore Dungeon/Hex Crawl Interest Check [UTC-7 Monday Afternoon]

Basic Fantasy Role-Playing Game I want to run a game of RAW/BTB Basic Fantasy RPG with a traditional focus of heroic (no serial killer thieves) original D&D-style adventuring. I will not be using any expansions or fan-created classes/races, only the basics as presented in the book will be available. We've gotten quite a bit of diversity with only humans  of the commoner class   in the real world, so I think we'll be okay with Dwarves, Elves and Halflings. Death rates can be high, will not always be anyone's 'fault', and necessitate backup characters, hirelings and a willing to take risks. Dithering and searching everything means a chance of random encounters, resource management and logistics is an essential part of the game, so even your caution must be measured. Players are encouraged/allowed to do some 'metagame' thinking, use your  intelligence and teamwork to cooperatively overcome obstacles, even if your character is dumb as a post. Excessive focus on character stats/overthinking character generation must be avoided in this type of game: roleplaying and effective character use is encouraged, but keeping in mind the fact that this is 'the story that happens' rather than 'a story I'm telling'. The game is the plot, while I may have a 'campaign' in mind there will be no railroading or 'for the convenience of the players'. DM promises not to cheat, if you one-shot the last boss, hey, he bites it. But if you fall down the stairs and die, hey, you bit it. This is oldschool 'wargaming' RPGing with a relatively rules-lite system, your character's details will be in what they experience and how you play them, not on the character sheet. Players should have basic familiarity with the adventuring and combat rules (they're free on the Basic Fantasy Role-Playing website, and not complicated) and keep track of their supplies. Due to the realities of gaming this will probably start as a 'drop in' game where players test the waters until we find a solid group of players who can make it regularly. If a player is unavailable for a scheduled session the game will continue and we'll ignore their absence, but players who stick with the game will be rewarded for doing so. I do not object to 'new' players in principle, either to the system or the RPGs, but I must emphasize that this is not Skyrim or even Savage Worlds, this is a game where character death is an ever-present possibility and party cooperation is essential to success.
I'd be sooo interested depending on start time (I'm UTC-5 with weird work hours). I've only played BFRPG once but I GM OSR stuff all the time, so it shouldn't be a huge adjustment.
