Hi folks, I'm a DM who has ran some of Curse Of Strahd before, around 2 years ago. I'm looking for 1-3 mature players (18+) who would like to join. I'm pretty relaxed on rules, so if that's not your thing then that's fine. My aim is for everyone to have fun, and sometimes the rules or arguing over the minute details stops that from happening. If you are unsure of anything please feel free to ask me a question, preferably before play but if something comes up that's fine too. I run on roll20, and discord. Some of my sessions are in the 'theater of mind' so some battle and scenes will not be on a drawn out map, but instead described and talked through, much like a story you would tell someone in person. Please only apply if you have a headset that doesn't sound like complete ass lol. I'm looking for players who would like to engage in role play, as my campaigns focus more on story and characters, rather than battle and murder-hoboing your way through everything (though that is fine for some campaigns :)). Don't get tied up on this though, if you don't like RPing, or are introverted, quiet, whatever, then that's fine. I just don't want people charging into combat or killing every NPC just because. Please don't feel you need to do a voice or act crazy if that's not what your character would do/not what you are comfortable with. As long as you're there to have fun, and help others around you have fun (and are not narcisstic), I think we'll have fun together. The way I am running EXP in this game is through milestones so you wont get exp for encounters, but gain levels when parts of the story has been completed. I am planning on running regularly every week on a weekday, usually starting at 1930 and only going through until 2130 (quick sessions as I am a busy dad!). I live in the UK, so times are based on that :). Some scenes and parts of the story may trigger some people. It's not game of thrones level of violence, but some things that may trigger some people are scenes that imply abuse, murder, manipulation and lots of drama. Anything hardcore, I will likely ask the players about it before planning, to make sure it's okay for everyone. Characters will need to be accepted prior to play, to help fit in with the lore and help world build :). Potential players will have a one off session so you can see how I DM, and I can see how you play, so we know if it's going to work :). Let's delve into dungeons together.
