Unfollow Campaign Forum...

Please?! I really, really, really would like to unfollow campaigns I'm in. I don't need ten bajillion freaking notifications every time someone posts.
Go to "My Account" in the top-left and change your Preferences.
Not emails. Notifications. The little pink box in the top right corner.

Ah. That's part and parcel to how it works. It's cropped up once or twice in the forums before. I would recommend posting in the Suggestions forum as a feature request. (but you probably know that already, given how often you're in the forums)

At this time, if you belong to a campaign board you get notifications even on things you don't care to read. If it gets to where you don't like it, you can leave the campaign to stop it. As Mark G stated, make a suggestion in the suggestion forum.
I shouldn't have to leave a campaign to stop getting notifications. I want to be in the campaign, I just don't give a shit about every single post in every single thread being posted in. Each and every time someone posts.

+1 Can't agree more. I joined the GM academy game because they have interesting conversations on topics that I'd like to read. But I had to drop it because I'd have 10-20 notifications whenever I log in to the site (which is about once an hour, it seems...). When I get notifications, I want it to be for things I specifically subscribed to, or things that I posted (scripts or forum requests). Not a bunch of responses on a topic I'm not interested in. As for campaigns, if we haven an active forum, I'd rather just go look at it before the next game and see what's new.

I wonder how many more it would have if this were not the case. -Phnord
