[LFG] (Bi-?)Weekly - Savage Worlds, FantasyCraft, Reign, Burning Wheel, Ryuutama (GMT+1, GER/ENG)

Hey roll20-Community, I'm looking for a new group as a player. I'm sick and tired of Pathfinder, DSA and D&D. I'm willing to learn the Systems mentioned above, as they were recommended to me. I'd also be willing to give L5R a try, but since this is supposed a mostly asian setting, I'd like to know about it first. I'd also love to try Ryuutama once it's released in english. I'd be available every day, ranging from 7PM till Midnight. I have to work, so much longer won't work well. I'm fine with an entirely english speaking group, as long as the accent isn't so heavy (Yes, I'm looking at you, Wales!), but german would be fine as well. I'm male, 25 years old and have been playing for 9 years now. €: Of course I have Voice & Cam if needed. Please no "text only" game. Sadly, my past experiences have led me to have some "requirements" that need to be fullfilled. 1. Everyone in the group should be over 18. 2. The GM should be willing to put as much into the campaign as I did with mine 3. No rules-lawyering. Rules are important, but you should not discuss them while playing. 4. No Min/Maxing for the sake of Min/Maxing - I don't need to be the "best" in a game we play TOGETHER 5. which brings me to the next thing - we should play and have fun together. No working against each other. 6. I'd like some psychologically stable people. No, seriously. If you have issues, I don't want to play with you. 7. Please no "not showing up, leave" 8. No pure Dungeoncrawl, it gets boring fast. Even faster if the dungeon is unimaginative. 9. Your own setting, or at least - don't do everything strictly by book. 10. The GM is always right. Always. That may sound arrogant, but I assure you: I am not. I'm not the best player, nor the best GM. I try my best to have fun, and make it fun for everybody. Great. We'd be two then already. Maybe we can find some other dedicated players and even a GM? I think it would be best if we played a sort of "Test-Session" should we find the missing players / GM before rushing and/or planning a whole campaign.

Hey guys! I have been running Torchbearer (By the same guys who made Burning Wheel). It is a dungeon crawler, but in every good sense of the phrase, and I am one to make adventures not solely based on underground crypts. Check my link below for my description of the game. I think the game's amazing. I have a player that will absolutely be stopping in late September due to school, and will need to replace him(And at that point I might be willing to take 2 new players anyhow) We play on Wednesdays from 2pm until 5pm Pacific (That would be 10pm until 1am GMT). However, I am also considering starting up a second game which will be from 9:30am to 1:30pm (5:30-9:30 pm) on the same day, if I can get the people. Also, come September, I will be free on Thursdays anywhere from 9am to 4pm Pacific , if that would be a better day for you. I can run a demo game for you to try out on either the Wednesday or Thursday, so long as I have 2 players Here is a link to my current game. Feel free to apply if you are interested. Hi, Redring! I'm afraid I'll pass on Torchbearer. a) I don't have the book. b) From what I've read about the Torchbearer, it's a bit too down to earth and gritty for my tastes. Steve the shit farmer and his friend Bob the failed wizard's apprentice go dungeoneering, while I prefer something along the lines of NWN2, Lord of the Rings and Dragon Age.

Ah, I understand, Longes. You are looking for something a little more heroic I guess. I can say that torchbearer assumes you are starting out as a new adventurer, and builds you in to a hero over time. Burning Wheel seems like it's more up your alley.

Although, I feel like it can be a bit deeper than shit-farmer Steve and failure Bob. It's really up to the DM how the adventure is run.

Again, I haven't actualy read the book, so my opinion could be misguided.

Hey Redring, unfortunately this may not be what I'm looking for. I haven't got the book either. But I have to agree with Longes. I had something like Dragon Age in mind. And again, Dungeon Crawling isn't exactly what I'm looking for. But I thank you for your interest, nonetheless. I take it that you are willing to play Burning Wheel, if we happen to find a GM?

Sure am! Though, those ones I mentioned are the only days I am free.

I don't know if I have the courage to GM Burning Wheel with any confidence. The rules the gm needs to know are pretty comprehensive. One thing I am having trouble with is finding an online character sheet for BW.

I've encountered three potential GMs on reddit, but neither of them has wrote back to me :(

I would like to play, not GM. I can be free on either Monday, Tuesday, or Thursdays. I just have to modify my schedule ahead of time so will need 2-3 weeks notice before we get things going.

We have a GM that heard our Plea. We probably need one or two additional players, depending on what our GM wants most.

Thanks, I will. We are now discussing a time schedule and possible problems concerning the GM, the kind of game we want to play and for our definitive system. It will take some time, so I will push this once more, interested people may still apply. We are still in the planning phase, so everything is subject to change, I guess.
