Token tooltip that only GM's can see

Score + 165
+1 Until they add this at least this thread exist to warn GM's that the tooltip is pretty worthless as is.
Adding another +1 for this.
Would help a lot +1
I almost exposed a mimic in my session because of this :(
Late to the party but this is a huge +1 from me. I like to give NPC combatants little unique abilities, but would rather the players see them in action rather than just reading them once the page is revealed!
Why hasn't this been done yet? +1

+1 My typical use of tooltip is to stick notes on creature tokens with obvious visible things player characters can see like the guy has a scar, it has just one eye, etc. Other tokens that represents objects, the tooltip displays players some more descriptive text about the object. This helps me as a GM as some questions will not rise anymore repetitively, and disrupt the storyflow. Nevertheless I love to use this feature to save some text or description that would help me as GM to not forget important elements of object/creature the token represents. That said, I would love to see both available actually.  1.) A Player tooltip with details on a token that players can disclose by hovering over the token. 2.) A switch for an additional GM Tooltip that displays different text as soon a GM hovers over the very same token.  Potentially with a different background color too. To let GM identify what sort of Tooltip he is looking at. (e.g. white background for player tooltip, light blue background for GM tooltip) That could probably imply that if you are the GM and the GM tooltip is switched on for that token, you would not see the standard tooltip content anymore as the GM one will be displayed.
Adding another +1
+1 Allowing us to restrict tooltips would be VERY useful for hiding quick information for GMs. The Token Nameplate feature can be hidden and restricted, however the information is still revealed in the Turn Tracker. So, when you run a round of combat, you expose whatever information is shown by the Nameplate! Please implement this!

I wish I could vote ten times on this. It's an opportunity that feels almost criminally wasted.

Yes, IIRC I pointed out the missing functionality when it was launched, but nothing has happened. I’m using it as is for 13th Age & The One Ring but it could be much more useful for many more GMs.

As a workaround a create everything as Character in Journal and then create new Ability called info (or anything I like), check " Show as Token Action " and then write the message. Either for players or just for me with "/w gm" at the beginning. It is better than searching everything in notes and rules and the bonus is that you could have as many "abilities" as you like.
