Nameplate changes

Hey there, I've noticed while trying to grant custom names to creatures that the nameplates revert after I leave the game. I save them nd have the token's set to use the custom name but it always goes back to the original. Anyone have any tips for this?

Hmm. Are you saving your defaults with the "Update Default Token" button in the token editing interface, or the older method of updating through the character journal in edit mode, removing the old token and selecting the new token? Whichever method it is, try the other way. Then edit your tokens on the VTT and set custom names. Refresh and see if the problem recurs. See next post

Actually, try this. There is currently a bug where multiple token editing windows for a single token can be open simultaneously. In my tests, sometimes changes failed to persist between refreshes. Make sure that when editing tokens, open one box per token, make changes, close the box and repeat with the others, within only one token being edited at a time.
Funnily enough your first suggestion seemed to help and work for me! Thank for the suggestion, I was losing my mind over it. x...x
