Hoi Chummers! Looking for a few more Runners to join our Peacekeeper crew using an easy-to-learn, OSR DnD lite Ruleset (Knave) where you can create a character and be in the thick of it super quick. The Runners are hired to keep the Law! (Whatever that means in their book!) New players and old grognards of the Cyberpunk genre are both welcome!  Shadowrun HTML - High Tech, Miserable Life Open slots: 2 System: D&S OSR/Knave (pdf provided, will teach, it's free) Campaign setting: Shadowrun/Vaults of Vaarn Welcome to Neom the City of Neon Bazaars Hoda! Where everything and anything can be bought, salvaged and sold! The Corporations, the Ikor Board, the Tech-guilds and the Ship Breaking Unions are all vying for control and influence in the frontier city on the Wall at the edge of the Blue Desert!  This is Season 2 of a cyberpunk game in a City of Perpetual Night where the PCs are "Peacekeepers"! The Runners have just secured a Security Sub-Contract for District 5's Precinct 13 from the Regulators - a Frontier Security group tasked with protecting Neom from the Hazards of the Wall! Is it a setup? Or is this finally a legit long term job with a pension? Can the Runners earn a clean living by being a "Public Servant"? Or will the allure of extra creds from shady deals on the borderlands be too much?  This is Shadowrun Peacekeeper edition in a Frontier City on the Badlands! If you want to join a crew that can earn some Shins/Woolongs/Credits while trying to "Protect and Serve!"- welcome to HTML! The campaign is mission-based - so every session is a standalone episode that ends - you can join along for just a session to check it out or long-term! Your choice! Thanks! Note: This is a rules-lite Cyberpunk Hack of OSR Knave (with hacks from other OSR material as well - especially for the base management rules) for those who want to enjoy a Cyberpunk setting without going into the heavy crunch of systems like Shadowrun or other systems (with all due respect and love for those systems).

For added context about Season 2: Blood and Dust (adapting Spire: The City Must Fall campaign frame for Cyberpunk setting) Neom is rotting from within and without. Each year the structures built onto the outside of the city’s structure collapse and fall away from increasingly frequent and violent Ikor Quakes that some say are man-made and not like the natural disasters of the past. Some blame rampant corruption and decadence of the ruling classes or the extensive drilling of dwindling Ikor Veins, and others curse the coming of the Corporations and their damned Ship Breaking while some whisper in the dark of a cursed tear in reality, called the Heart by the cultists, that festers deep within the Wall, threatening the very sanity of those living in the Barrens around Neom. Disorder and chaos are a natural part of daily life for those on the edges of civilisation. But this...this is different: the brutal undercity of the Barrens is more chaotic than ever. Before, gangs would pass each other with holstered weapons and wary glances, each keeping to their respective territories, now, they engage in open warfare, and spireblack gunsmoke floats through the dark city. Families come apart, leaving children without mothers, begging on the streets for sustenance. The Crimson Vigil, a group of violent anti-Nobility/republican reactionaries, are openly recruiting soldiers for their forbidden cult. And a new play, The Weeping Maiden, is touring the district – and that’s all anyone seems to talk about. Things are coming apart, and ordinary people are getting caught in the middle. Someone is behind this. The newly Deputized Regulators, all noted professionals from the Barrens and District 5 (and relative novices in Peace Keeping), gather their Team together and start investigating.

Thanks! Welcome aboard!
Never played Shadowrun, but I'm up to give it a shot. Been interested in trying it anyway and I'm pretty sure that Knave is easier anyway. I'm down if your happy for newbs to join in.
Still a spot open for this? I've not dabbled in Knave, but assuming it's got anything in common with other OSR systems I shouldn't have any trouble with it. Familiar with OSE, BFRPG, Lamentations, 1E, B/X, etc. What I don't immediately understand about Knave I should have no trouble getting the hang of. My only question, though not a deal breaker regardless, is do you deal with the "lifestyle" bits of the game? The keeping track of how a character lives between missions stuff. In any case I'm interested if there's still room!
Oh hey sorry - just logged on and saw your posts! @DisLexic - Newbs are always welcome!  @Boradin Urdaksson - It is an open table game so folks are welcome to join and drop any time! Knave is very similar to some of those you mentioned, so you will immediately be able to pick it up. We have Downtime rules and use a Discord server to deal with "lifestyle" issues if that's what you mean. We also play in "real" time so 7 days pass in between sessions for the PCs to recover and the City (and its Factions) to move forward. Cheers!
Bumping up with update: Next session of HTML Shadowrun : NEOM on Thursday 9th Feb at 6-9pm UK! S2E3 @#$& the Police! After being drafted for a grueling 3 weeks to help out with the Ikor Quakes and Floods Response Unit (I.Q.F.R.U.) - the Runners complete their training as full fledged Regulators and get their badges (and guns)...it's time to lay down the Law in the Barrens - Regulator style!
