I could run a few one-shots for you two along with an NPC or you two controlling an extra random token creature so you can do more. Most one-shots are 4/6hrs long up to 1-3 sessions depending on how much roleplaying your gang does. Your friend would learn everything they need to for when you both go into a long campaign. I am unavailable Fridays because I run Tomb of Annihilation and Candlekeep Mysteries after in the evening. I could do every other Saturday in the afternoon or evening. Sundays are available depending on the time. Monday-Thursday 7pm-11pm PT. I am in PT California. Here are a few one-shots I run, but I have many. I also run the known campaigns like, the wild beyond the witchlight - tomb of annihilation - lost mine of phandelver which I recommend for first time players, (its level 1-5 a short campaign but covers everything for new players and is really fun. We could even do twice a month or once a month but phandelver is perfect for new players) and so on. Dinner with a Dragon, about 2 long sessions https://youtu.be/WWwQkIvO8bo The Haunt, 1 long session. There is 3 parts to this but playing just the first one is fine and if you wanted to do the other 2 later you could. https://youtu.be/cLrSq_kPP5g Camp Clearwater is 1-2 sessions depending on the group. It is a re-playable one-shot. The group is up against a randomly rolled monster and all clues are placed in re-rolled locations every game. You could fight a Cult Fanatic or up to a Beholder depending on the slasher rolled. It plays off the horror movie genres but in a D&D fantasy setting. https://youtu.be/K6zxXbI391I I also have many more and can tell you them to see if they peek your interest. The ones above are used to show the assets I use in games. I even use animated maps for certain adventures as well. Have fun adventuring and may all your rolls be 20's!!!!!
