New to roll20 and fiddling with its ui

I am having some issues with the system and would like to know if roll20 is broken or if I am doing it wrong in the token settings. I have entered a character sheet for my NPC, I name it Pirate- I want to keep somethings as generic as possible to minimize the down time. I then marry a token to it for representation. i.e. Pirate- then I have the token bars. I picked Health, Magic points and Sanity. ( I would like a 4th for my PCS and have it be Luck, if there is a way to do that.) It pulls all the info from the sheet and plugs it in to the Token Bars. I flip to another map to reuse "pirate" and I have to manually go back in and redo its Token Bars all over again. This gets real old real fast. Is there a way where I can have a "template" token maker so that the 3 bars on any token loaded up already have those 3 Attributes ? I thought I saw something like this on another page.

My guess is you did not save the token to the character. Make sure you hit "Update Default Token" when you are editing the token directly.
heh- I replied to you in the other thread- I got mixed up. too much going on atm.

Gettng it right can be difficult unless you follow the recipe correctly. Here's the recipe: https://help.roll20.net/hc/en-us/articles/360039715593-Linking-Tokens-to-Journals
