How do I "free" an image?

So, I want to upload an image to my campaign and NOT have it automatically snap to the grid. Is there a way to do this?? Please give me some detailed steps. Thank you.
Step 1: Hold down the ALT key while placing the image. Step 2: If your computer doesn't have an ALT key, use whatever key it is your computer has. -Phnord
Sweet! THanks. Follow up question: Is there anyway to get rid of the grid lines individual pages? IE: I do not want to see the gridlines of Roll20 on my image.
gridlines: On the image you uploaded or the grid roll20 is laying over it?

You can turn off the gridlines in the page settings. Alternately, if you want to keep the gridlines but make them unseen use the slider below the grid color box and turn the grid all the way down to nothing.
Doesn't right clicking and choosing Advance/Is Drawing also free the image from gridline snapping? That is the procedure I usually use when setting up art on the map layer.

Images set to "Is Image" can be cleared by "Clear Drawings". Be careful if you set an image to "Is Image".
Where abouts is the option for removing the grid lines? I hit the settings tab, and there is nothing for it there.
1. Click the blue button next to the zoom slider to bring down the page toolbar. 2. Hover over the page you want to edit and click on the cogwheel to bring up the settings page. 3. Start fiddling! You can turn the grid off entirely which is great for whiteboard drawing, but turning off the grid means nothing can snap to it. If you still want to use tokens and have things lined up nicely, you can instead adjust the opacity of the grid until it's transparent. That way the grid is still there and things will snap to it, you just can't see it.

Incidentally, if you have a page setup the way you like it, you can create a new page with the same settings (grid color, opacity, units, etc) by clicking the copy page button (crossing arrows, opposite the gear in LD's 2. picture). This does not copy the contents of the page, only the settings.
