Is it possible to alter the colour of text in text chat?

I switched from google chrome to firefox and now the colour of text has changed dramatically. I can barely read anything. I know that a separate colour scheme is available on chrome for free. When I booted up this game, my account's preferences were set to light theme. Previously the text box used a white background and black text. I saw a thread saying that changing text colour was impossible, but that thread was 7 years old.

That doesn't seem right. Something surely must have been broken?

Does toggling dark mode fix anything? It might require reloading the game afterward.

I had a friend with that exact issue. It's a Dark Mode problem. Find the toggle for Roll20's dark mode and go back to light mode. You might have to toggle to dark mode and then back to light mode. You account preferences and game preferences might be different.

Thanks GiGs, that helped me get reproduction steps to pass off the devs! Note: if you set it to night mode, the. Refresh the browser, it will behave correctly. This seems to only affect Chrome, both on Mac and Windows.

That second line is interesting, and it might explain why only one of my friends was having the problem - I think everyone else was using Firefox. It's nice having a quick solution to test. I'm glad to hear the devs have a way to reproduce it too!
