Question about map revealing

I bought the Waterdeep Dragon Heist campaign add on and was thrilled to see premade maps with NPC tokens. I'm new to Roll20 and would love to use these. My problem is that I have maps that appear to be dark to reflect fields of vision for my player tokens and it's not ideal for my purposes. I'd like to be able to control what is hidden and what is not. I noticed the reveal/hide function looks differently than when I just use uploaded images from my computer. Is there a way to simplify this if I'm not going to use fields of vision? Apologies if this is the wrong place to post this, I'm very new around here and spent far too long trying to find answers in the help center article.  TL;DR: I'd like to make this entire map visible but there seem to be permanently dark areas and I can't reveal them.

Step 1: Reveal everything using the Permanent Darkness tool you already discovered.  Step 2: Click the Page Toolbar button, edit the page you are on, turn off Dynamic Lighting for that page.  Step 3: If desired, turn on Fog of War Step 4: Repeat steps 1-3 for every page you want to do this to.
OMG thank you so much!!!!
