Problems using Align-To-Grid

Hello all!

I'm trying to make a map for the Glassworks for Rise of the Runelords and I have some amazing maps to use :) The unfortunate thing is, I always have such terrible trouble with the align tool. When I use it, it resizes the map (it seems) and even though it aligns up correctly on some squares, on other squares its always off. It seems when I look to the left the grid phases left, and when I look right, the grid phases right. I am making sure the image being used is set to the same dimensions that its originally meant to be in. Am I doing something wrong? I thought the align tool was just meant to change the size of the roll20 lines and I could just shift it into position. And fiddling with the scalers on the side doesn't help :<

FlowerPaladin,

Here is a guide to how to align your map. https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/3688/map-alignment-and-you-or-101-ways-to-get-your-grids-in-a-row#post-3688

Roll20 resizes the map not the grid. However, if the map is too small when it does that there are a couple of techniques to also resize the grid. If you need further assistance please PM me a join link and I will come help.

As someone who's also running Rise of the Runelords, the fact that the Glassworks floor map was designed at a 45 degree angle drives me right up the wall! Let us know if you're still having trouble getting the map alligned.

I'm currently running 3 separate groups thru RORL and for the glassworks, just get it close and turn the grid off, no big deal. The maps already have the grid, use it like you would on a table top with minis.
