Looking for clarification on Art Library space use

Just looking for clarification on Art Library space use. I have a free account and was only a player until a few months back. I set up the game and synced with Beyond20 and create my maps in Inkarnate. One of my players, however, decided to host our game on his account giving us more space and Dynamic lighting. Today I was uploading one of my maps and got an alert that I reached my space limit. Taking a look at my account I see that the alert is based off of my 100 MB limit rather than the 8 GB of my players account. So it looks like the space of my friends account isn't shared by everyone in the game? And if I understand correctly only items that I upload count towards my limit? That being the case then I would need to purchase a subscription in order to expand my personal space limit as there is no game space limit, correct? I would appreciate any insight on this.

Storage is calculated by what you have uploaded on your account, and has nothing to do with games. You might want to check into the images you are uploading. In general (unless they are tokens), they should be .jpg and probably don't need to be more than 2-2.5 mb unless they are incredibly large grid unit count maps.
