I am looking for a DM for a new free to play online campaign for my group of 5 friends. We are all located in the Chicagoland area and are in our early 30s and have been friends for 20+ years. We recently had a campaign fall through before it began and we all have several lvl 3 characters already created with sheets ready to go. We have been using Roll20 and Discord to play online exclusively and have so far completed two campaigns; a lvl 3-10 home brew setting 5e campaign as well as a “Lost Mines of Phandelver” campaign from lvl 1-7. Each of those ran about one year in playtime and we would love a long campaign to take new characters to higher levels we haven’t gotten to before. We all have a good understanding of the game mechanics and have played various RPGs over the years. We would like to continue using Roll20 and Discord to play online as that is what we are familiar with. An official campaign module such as Curse of Strahd or Dragon Heist would be preferred over a sandbox/homebrew setting. Our schedule would allow for 2 sessions per month on either Friday or Saturday evenings for 3-4 hours depending on the DM's preference. We are looking to start in either January or the beginning of February. We are a fun and welcoming group with a lot of enthusiasm for the game, comedy, combat and role-play.
