Really excited to have finally gone
live with our first module. I hope you like it. Below is one of the
eight pre-rolled characters included in the Sword of Morn. Vardin Temethry Vardin may look young, but he is getting on in Eleven years. He has spent his time exploring the ancient forests and learning the ways of the world. It is true that many elven druids are arrogant in their belief that they have a greater understanding of nature than human druids. Fortunately Varid's is the exception to the rule. He has a great fondness for the younger races as he has witnessed great knowledge and selfless deeds done by all races in his long life. Vardin's life has not been easy. His whole family tragically died in a great fire that engulfed his home, At first Vardin blamed the gods and nature itself. But with time, he realized the reality and cruelty of fate and moved on, becoming fascinated with the power of nature to create and destroy. He sought out some of the greatest elven and human herbalists, and after many years as an apprentice, he went out into the world. When it comes to socializing, Vardin tends to keep to himself in large groups. Once he gets to know others he slowly relaxes and enjoys their company. He likes to make witty comments at the most stressful times, to relieve the tension and has even been known to make a dwarf laugh. Which is one of his favorite things to do as he never understood the animosity between dwarves and elves. If asked he would say , “We are both elder races after all and we should know better”. As an elf, Vardin has learned how to use a good variety of weapons. He can wield a long sword, bow and sickle. The sickle is mainly used for gathering plants but can be useful to hack lumps of flesh off evil creatures. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
