Trying to put a gif with a transparent background into my attacks. A big grey link box shows up behind it and looks bad. Is there a way to disable it?

Hi all, As the title said, I'm trying to put a gif with a transparent background into my attacks for my Drunken Master monk.  But a big grey link box shows up behind it and I was hoping there was a way to get rid of it.  If you click it, it brings you to the gif linked, which is a function I don't need.  Any advice? I can't use other gifs btw as my character is basically this exact person lol.  Thanks!
How are you putting the gif into the attack description? What code/macro are you using?

I believe the cause for this is an update that was made roughly 1-2 weeks ago. I noticed that entries in the chat that formerly showed as hyperlinks (underlined) now had the box around them. This meant that I had to add additional blank lines into my macro. Until now I was not able to disable this new setting.

And where are you using it? In the attack description? How are you making the attack roll? Screenshots might be helpful. One idea: try adding a character into the brackets: [X](link to gif)

Yeah, this is almost absolutely caused by the changes to the display of links in roll templates. I can verify and have made a report.

So I kind of fixed it by working around the heart of my problem, which was that this gif had a transparent background.  I used some online tools to change the background of the gif to solid white, and then reuploaded it.  Here is the end result: You can still see the grey link box there as it goes past the frame, but its way better than it was before.  If I was Roll20, I'd personally make that link box transparent instead of grey and maybe shrink it down (but that could be my browser or something).  A big thank you for all you that took the time to help.  Very much appreciated!
