Hi R20 friends! I'm a long time D&D fan but due to various reasons (no interest from IRL friends and weird anxiety about voice/video calls) I've never been able to find a group to actually PLAY with. I'm hoping this year I might be able to give it a go and play D&D for the first time. For now I'd love to find a text only group to join for my first ever proper adventure, at least until I feel comfy with others and my D&D/Roll20 understanding to maybe try voice calls in future. I've never used Roll20 before so while I have an okay grasp of D&D 5e, I am very much in need of guidance with R20!! (And could probably use some support just getting to grips with actually playing too mostly just in terms of combat rolls and skill checks etc!) If there are any DM/GMs out there who have a spot for a shy but enthusiastic new player to learn, or can recommended one, please let me know!! I'm in the GMT/UK timezone, but generally keep weird sleeping hours so I'm about a lot lol.
