D&D 5E: Monster Manual Expanded Package Compendium Unlocking only when purchased on DriveThruRPG?

On the Roll20 marketplace it says that the Monster Manual Expanded Compendium has to be purchased on DriveThruRPG.com , however there is no account linking between Roll20 and DriveThruRPG that I can find on either website, so how can I ensure the compendium unlocks and integrates on Roll20 if I were to purchase it on DriveThruRPG? Any information would be helpful since there doesn't seem to be anything on the forums around this yet.
