(LFP) Action Packed Space Adventure - FIREFLY - CYBERPUNK - STARWARS - JAMES BOND - BAND OF BROTHERS - SOPRANOS

This HOMEBREW Space-Western RPG is shiny like FIREFLY, will shoot you first like SOLO, bring you back like the TERMINATOR, or just leave you LOST IN SPACE. You might die another day like JAMES BOND, fall in love with royalty like DOWNTON ABBY, end up on the streets like CYBER PUNK, hustle some drugs like CLERKS, and rob a casino like OCEANS 11, then help yourself get rescued like the A-TEAM.    My games are action packed, If you want to have a tea party call your grandma. There's going to be fighting and shooting, flying ships and chase scenes, gambling, running from the cops and getting even with those that crossed you. My players will always have motivation and goals in my games. I will always give people options so you won't be railroaded but I will keep the game on the tracks and moving along.   The Federal Alliance of the Planets (F.A.P.) declared all of space is under their authority. Divided, the outer worlds failed to organize a united resistance. Faced with war, middle planets ruled by tyrants and criminal syndicates bought federal politicians and became officially recognized as local royalty and have legalized their extortion from within the law. The Independence Movement Militias (I.M.M.) eventually formed from planets that resisted and fought a futile war against the better armed Alliance. The few small I.M.M. victories only pushed the F.A.P. to destroy entire planets that stood in its way with massive star destroyers or wipe planets clear of life with terminator robots.  Ten years later, even after declarations of amnesty, what is left of the I.M.M movement hides deep in space or underground conducting gorilla attacks often focusing on liberating illegal slave  and POW camps, stealing weapons or sabotaging F.A.P. installations. Their acts are portrayed by the media as terrorism but celebrated by the commoners. For citizens that obey, the new government sells back your rights in exchange for a slow death by a thousand cuts of endless taxation. The life is mostly working just to earn some fake food, air and water, and is not far from slavery. A few still hold on to the dream of a better life if they can just get a chance to break out into space. Intolerance of the law or even speaking out against politicians might get you “randomly” drafted for settlement on a barren planet or internment at a gulag work camp like those that tried to fight for independence years ago. Government corruption is censored to re-enforce the propaganda of nationalism. Meager handouts and patriotic celebrations demonize thoughts of fair and equal democracy. Legal rights are nothing but lies told to make the tax slaves feel free while the political elite live above the law. Revolutionaries promise change but are just as willing to steal from and kill innocent people to support their cause as the government is. There is a lot of space out there and running might be the best option before you get tied down to money, love or ideals. The planets of deep space are hungry for goods. If you can get a ship you can make decent coin, but rights to trade might be owned by local gangs or officials with customs and bribes to be paid. Space pirates might be worse than the asteroids but better than the government. Lots of people never take to settling down on land and live a life free floating in the stars. These drift stations need goods and sometimes some protection if you are good in a fight. Food might buy you friends, drugs might buy you sex, money might buy you love, and guns are the only thing that buys you freedom. The loyalty of your crew might be the only thing on your ship that doesn’t break, but sometimes you have to do things you don't want to keep your ship flying.  Firewinds is a fair, easy to learn RPG system that allows for lots of role-play creativity and character development without class restrictions . Use a quick worksheet to make a character in 10 minutes and be ready to start role playing.  Everyone has the same targeted AC system that allows you to target opponents weaknesses. The new magic system in version 10 can help you grasp the force and improve your skills,  make your attacks and defenses better, or even save your life.    YOU MUST HAVE DISCORD AND A MIC We post when we are going to play in our discord and use discord voice chat in our games.  18+ WITH GROSS VIOLENCE AND HORRIBLE LANGUAGE  Or at least be 16 and act like and sound like you are 18, and never tell us you're not.  THIS IS NOT DND 5E  It's ok that  you don't know how to play this game,  I will help you. It's designed to be easy to learn. When you start, all macros are already made for your character sheet. I will tell you when and where to click a button to roll until you figure it out yourself.  THIS IS A CLASSLESS AND RACELESS  RPG SYSTEM  You are a human barbarian/wizard/rogue/assassin/healer/bard. You are not prohibited from doing things by stupid class and race restrictions designed to disable your character.  THE MAGIC SYSTEM AND SPELLS ARE DIFFERENT THAN DND 5E If you want to use magic you will need to read the spellcasters guide and the spells up to the level you are before you try to cast a spell. Your God has blessed you with a few spells and prayers to protect you and help you against your enemies, but you will have to fight with your weapons, magic and courage if you want to succeed. FOLLOW THE STORY, BE A HERO,  DONT BE A MURDER HOBO,   Only a limited amount of railroading when necessary to advance the story in an endless open world setting. This is a story of heros- not murder hobos rapists, if you want to be a murder hobo rapist please find friends somewhere else. BE COOL, I play to be social and make friends. If you're not a nice person who wants to make friends and hang out with others and help each other succeed you're probably not going to fit in.  I do about 80% combat 20% roleplay but some sessions are just combat. If you want more roleplay, start it yourself with other players and npcs, it's not just the GMs Job.  I record our games for future youtube use or podcasts and by playing you consent to releasing all rights to any ideas or content you produce and the use of your voice and likeness, we will not use your full name or release personal information about you. There will be a new game starting Wednesdays at 10am MST, high noon Eastern, if you can play then post when you are able to play in the comments .   If you have a group of 3 or more close friends and a set time when you all meet weekly or bi weekly I can run a free private game for you and your friends. I also play an ongoing pick up game a few times a week whenever we can get a few players. I will message everyone on discord when it starts, or can answer any of your questions there.

Game Journal Episode 1. Crew has been hired to help a local business man named Lee with collections for his repair business and ship junkyard and to provide security for his bar. The Bronx- like planet BRONEX has limited economic opportunities and has recently banned guns. The first episode the crew apprehended a man who had a bounty issued by a brothel for killing a hooker, the crew was spotted by his friends and they killed them while they were interfering with his transport to the brothel. They may have been identified but no warrant's have been issued. The second episode a bounty hunter made the mistake of trying to use the bar as a meeting place to return an escaped sex slave Lily to her pimp for a bounty. The crew killed the bounty hunter, wounded the pimp who came to buy her but escaped, some Mexican guy was killed in the process and both bodies are in storage at the back room of the bar. (edited) — 01/03/2023 4:01 PM Episode 3, lee interviews lily and finds out an alliance senator has been hanging out at the sex house he frequents . Lee wants  video footage and has friends that will pay to have him killed. Dayday and gunner seduce one of the guards while another poses as a janitor and set a camera, they lose coms with nerd and void has to come in for backup and help them kill the senator. The camera footage they get is blurred and the senator is propaganded to have died at home and not as the war criminal he was and at a whore house. They get the reward for killing him but lily is abducted by a bounty hunter syndicate that use to own and is looking for the Void.   01/05/2023 12:31 AM Episode 4. Concerned for lilly the crew head out to look for her but the crew van hits a car jack in the road and battle chopper bots start trying to cut up the van for parts, the crew defends but the sound of guns alert police. they flee in the van and Dayday out drives them police. The crew starts surveillance on the gang hideout which has a security bot patrol. Orochi drops off his hacking terminal while another crew gets hooked on green dragon spice. 01/08/2023 6:15 PM  Episode 5 . the crew infultraits the KAI hideout though a vent fan in the garage, in the darkness they battle a jack bot , rod breaks his sword but finds a broken plasma torch he may repaire and upgrade it with. anouther finds a fix-it tool and scanner . damaged they decide to push on ! 01/08/2023 11:00 PM Episode Six. they jimmy a window open into a basement garage where they find a street racer atv. they install a battery pack for it and find a way round the door into the kitchen . they take one of the kai members captive and find lilly hiding in a cell on the other side of the room . breaking the door open and the wall they grab lilly and try to escape but have to fight kai members and the security bot when the atv gets stuck in the gate. they kill a kai member an make an enemy of "one eyed tress" as they escape on the 4 wheeler atv. rod the rod almost loses a leg while doing at home medicine but lee calls in the veterinarian who moonlights as a doc on humans for cash to patch him up and give him a new flea collar . Episode 7. Lee give the crew two hours to get aboard a small transport and they make a hurried transport ship containing a large order or gravity drive shields and modules for a stranded freighter that also needs mechanics to fix it. They will get a little pay and get off planet to shake the Kai bounty hunters for a while. And can find work on the freighter fixing it with the new parts they are bringing. The transport ships master is gary and it's redshirt pilot is jenny. While the flight engineer samual’s pre check is good, slightly after takeoff he has problems with thruster control module exploding and nearly blowing his leg off which leaves jenny unable to break orbit and burns off the landing gear. Orochi drops the glide flaps which buys the crew a few more seconds before hitting the ground and stabilizes the shaking of the ship. Rod reroutes thruster controls as samuel recovers and assists. The ship shoots forward and orochi and Jenny hold the ship together seconds from impact and break orbit cause they can't land the ship with no gear. They dock to a repair station in orbit and have to wait a few days for parts. Orochi gets jumped in the shitter at the choke and puke diner but rod and samuel kick the guys ass before he can steal anything and send his friend running. Elistan joins them for a meal after helping with ship repairs but alliance officers think he is wanted, rod convinces the officers eli is a sax player named Cog, and the waitress gets a selfie with him , which is shared online and now millions know eli and know he is really a wanted man. He buys a disguise at a thrift shop and other score some books on religion and karate, rod gets the plasma cutter working on his sword , and they leave the space port  — 01/13/2023 9:47 PM episode 8 With a nat 20 the crew makes the fight to the disabled freighter studying books on the way , rod gets hurt unloading the ship but the crew is able to get the grave drive into the disabled freighter with little trouble. They decide to make way to the wrecked ship where they salvage parts and a good amount of loot including medscanner, repair tool, and flight computer , and transponder, and arms lockout override. They cut lee in on the salvage for using his ship  — 01/15/2023 10:39 PM Episode 9, jay cob distracts a hooker crack head while Dyrft steals her Id card only to find out she has warrants too. Lee sends out the crew on a surveillance /rescue run with a return trip milk haul, but the alliance orders the ship to divert and carry a load of high explosives and they make 900 a day for 5 days each , while alliance lieutenants are below deck most of the crew has warrants above. left alone after unloading the pilot jenny has a mental break down when the ship is having problems and plumbing to a hydrogen tank catches fire. The crew puts it out and the ship has to fly on the reserve tank. Despite the captain shitting her pants and problems with landing gear and thrusters and the main engine controls danny starlyft takes over coffee making and  Dyrft  drives the shop to orbit the desert planet. Episode 10: the ship gets shot at by a mine while searching for the crash zone of the missing ship, it takes them nine days to find it , approaching on foot they have to.destroy.a hover .battle droid to get to it. They salvage stuff from the wreck for lee then find a note the 3 person's who left it and set out to look for them. They discover a load boat 9000 pulling a sled and hack it and down load the memory and find scan footage from the bot memory showing the missing crew at a slave mine , they reprogram it and ride it to the mine .  Episode 11 surveying the mine they look for another back entrance, they avoid a saber cat and kittens and find a hidden entrance and disable a gun turret guarding the back entrance . using fuel cells and coffee maker bomb from a yard sale they blow up some of the guard buildings after sneaking in , they fight the 12 guards but 2 escape , one is killed by the prisoners, mostly former independents soldiers . they take the mines money and leave the survivors and search for the last guard in the desert , he tries to ambush the crew but they fall down some canyons and are able to shoot him after taking a few shots. They return to the mine to find out a starcruiser from the alliance is coming to “help” the pows. They hail 3passing freighters for help evacuating the mine slaves and one crashes and needs help , the crew dumps 50 people at a space stations truck stop with no money and return to help the crashed ship , they return to lees yard and get paid.  Episode 12 the crew looks for jobs where they could get a ship, they buy a repo contract for a ship and it happens to be near a salvage job. Some crew members settle up on debts, they decide on a stop half way out and buy some more food, they use some magic mushroom growing equipment. They stop half way out and have dinner and orochi  tries to steal a necklace from a shrine and gets spotted returning, but some alliance soldiers, merlin gives one the stink eye and he leave but the other 2 chance orochi over a fence.and he gets away. They sell the mushrooms for supply's and armor. They leave and meet a destroyer drone mid space but out run it and arrive at the wreckage.  Episode 14 The  Crew arrives at the abandoned star cruiser to do the salvage job, the ship has no bridge or major weapons (damaged in a battle long ago and the escape pods have been deployed , in the airlock they find some weapons and see a motion detector bomb but one is missing from the case. They battle a maintenance bot with a gun, then excitedly headed to the armory not noticing the missing bomb with all thier perception checks , they escape with minor damage but lost the majority of the armory equipment. They raid crew quarters and find some weapons and magic items. And recover food.from the kitchen and salvageable goods.  Episode 15 and 16 The crew combats more maintenance bots that appear behind them from a closet and coming down the hall, 2 redshirts get blasted at point blank range and splatter across the hall. A maid bot koolaids through a door into the hall and beats on the crew before it is critted with a nat 20 to the head. Another is hacked and shut down. They raid more crew quarters and get guns, AZ gets aids from a syringe to the hand and is not feeling good. Rebecca gets a neuro toxin on her that makes her fall asleep if she rolls a 3 , she then promptly rolls a 3 on the next roll trying to collect goods to salvage. Merlin shows up from his nap to heal the crew. The crew recover ship data from the computer room about the ships demise and defences. The crew reaches the engine rooms and kills half of the repair bots while reaching the control switch to reset the from defense mode. The surving bots fix the engine and the turbo lift bring a mech bot down and they decide to blow it up with a power cell only to have the cell nearly kill 2 of the crew, they have to be healed in combat. The crew feels the ship start to move with no course and need to shut down the engines. Rebecca crawls up a ventilation shaft and enters the thruster control room while being stealthy to not alert the battle droids outside the room guarding the room. She falls asleep multiple times but the loud room keeps waking her up and she eventually shuts down the thrusters. Episode 17, the crew space walks to a damaged section of the salvaged ship , tearing her suit Dayday has to saved by merlin who plugs a hole in her suit, they find the morgue and an alliance passcard in the body of the commander and his personal effects, they find the ships safe and loot it for cash and rare earth art and paintings, they find a top secret pallet and unleash a prototype teckbot, who attacks mad jack , he takes the damage without even being knocked down with the use of his defender spell , they defeat the bot with some lucky hits before they get really hurt and return to the ship .    Episode 18. A cyber skeleton attacks them, then they Loot the med bay , dr robot sedated merlin just as an attack droid senses they are there, they try to hide from it but are detected and then fight and blow it up, they recover medicine supplies and the Dr robot as well as replacement arms and legs .  Episode 19 they are forced to bypass 2 planning rooms and head to the cargo bay when an attack droid attacks and they can't shut it down with hacking , damaged they use an ejected battery core to blow it up. 2 more attack droids are attracked by the house and they hide from it while getting rocket launchers they found ready, some missed shots get lucky but deploy a case of fire extinguishers fogging the area, dragon lady nearly kills demolishen man when she blows the last attacker next to him, they find grenades for the crew and more goods to split with the crew and guns, but realize they are trapped when robots locked them in the cargo bay. Episode 20, they crew is liberated by removing the attack droid behind them and fights a cyborg in the rooms they skipped. The.crew faces off the two bots in the hanger Episode 21 the final bot is destroyed in the engine room and a dead adventurer is found , they remove his loot, and it is discovered the starr destroyer top floor had been looted and several dead scavengers had been killed by the attack droids, merlin finds a final room and they unlock it to release a 2gun terminator with a 4 shot rocket launcher , mad jack and merlin nearly die but they kill it and mad jack uses its +2 face as a helmet.  Episode 22 the crew departs and gets stopped by alliance when the grav drive fails in deep space. Fortunately they are only asked to ferry a passenger to the next space port where they sell some mushrooms and fix the stove that broke and reload supplies  Episode 23 the crew makes it home and sells some good , they go to the doctor and wander into a casino and win very little money , they scare off some robbers without a fight but dont get rewarded well.
