[LFG] [5e D&D] [GMT / UK Time 12-9pm availability] Experienced player looking for long term D&D 5e game or just new friends :D

Hey I'm Cassidy, I'm 25 years old, neurodivergant non-binary they/them from north-west england. I'm a big creative type who has lived on a computer since they first became a thing, I'm a PC gamer mostly but I do have a PS4 and a switch as well, the games I play most regularly I'd say are Fallout 4, Destiny 2, Minecraft, Generation Zero and Potion Craft. I'm also a hobbyist writer and artist, I make almost all my own character art and love writing up detailed backstories for my characters, though I can be persuaded to keep it to just one paragraph if need be so don't worry about asking for a synopsis and getting an essay. I'm a big DC and Marvel fan, loving both equally, I love cartoons and live action stuff with the same ferver and I'm pretty nerdy when it comes to what I'll watch, with soime of my all time favourite shows being Star Trek, Star Gate, The Mandalorian and Warehouse 13 (if you know that last one that's instant browny points with me). I've been playing D&D on and off since 2019 if not earlier, tons of experience with D&D 5th edition and after a long while I'm looking to get back into a game with a small-ish group for a long term kind of game. Ideally group size of 4-5 players including myself, I'm not too big on horror or grimdark but beyond that, tone, setting, homebrew or official I'm down for anything, new and experienced players/dm are equally good in my books. My availability is generally 10:30am till 9pm GMT (UK timezone, translating to 5:30am till 4pm Pacific Standard Time for y'all 'muricans), and the only day I can't guarantee I'm free is Sunday since that's my designated visit the family day, that and tuesday until about lunchtime I'm at a part-time college course. I'm generally laid back though I do tend to get emotionally invested in my characters, I usually favor playing magic classes though I'm pretty flexible and I'm willing to play whatever the group needs. Anti-social behaviour from players and characters alike is a big no for me, I hate drama and if your character is a douchebag nobody is going to want to play with them regardless of why, I'm by no means guilt-free, everyone is human and we all make mistakes but if we're all willing to be civil and talk things out calm like I'm sure we can sort it out no problem. Similarly I'm not a big fan of playing or playing with oiutright evil characters, moral grey-ness and flexibility is fine but generally I like us all to be on roughly the same page alignment wise. All that said I'm generally a stay in my own lane kind of person, I don't like stirring things up and whilst I've been very particular about my likes and dislikes here that's only so it's all out of the way ahead of time, and if you've read through all of this and you're still here well I hope at least some of it interested you and I hope I'm someone you might want to get to know :D Best way to reach me is by sending me a direct message here on Roll 20, or by adding me on Discord and sending me a DM on there Cassidy#2541 and I'll aim to get back to you ASAP, I don't bite and I'm always happy to have a chat so you can vet me and feel me about before you commit to adding me to your roster, I won't take it personally so long as I at least get an answer either way.
Hey there, Cassidy!  You sound very creative and a lot of fun! If you might be interested in a collaboration game I'm starting please read my post called, "Something a little different..." if any of that sounds like fun to you just let me know.  I didn't do the math to figure out if the times over laps with your availability but maybe?  Just wanted to invite you since you seem so cool!
Hey! I'm also UK based, been playing D&D both as GM and a player for the past 15 years! I very recently decided to make a D&D discord server for my friends, hoping to grow it into a laid back and chill community. We're not very regimented, if someone wants to run a game they either post there or Dm me about it and we work from there to find times that work. We also have a range of text based RP channels if you'd rather jump in that way before looking for a game! If you want to get in, send me a DM here and i'll throw you a link :D
Bumping since I haven't found a group yet.

Not sure if you're interested, I'm considering running a game but am an utter newbie dm hoping to find my voice(s) as it were. Just seeing if people mind tagging along with someone who will most definitely stumble, and often, or if my offerings are inadequate to the great dice in the Aether. The campaign would be homebrew - beacause, why make anything easy when you can make it maddening instead? - and predominantly 'theatre of the mind'; I want to tell a story, not draw a picture. The setting is the Labyrinthine Istoria, a shifting plane of the Aethereal where the Valar - the righteous dead - fight a losing war to turn back the inevitable. There would be elements of base building, plane shifting, tomb raiding, handicaps for the living (survival, not combat), roving monsters, etc, as well as intrigue and appeasing creatures far more powerful. Ideally, part combat, roleplay, and resource management. Though that would depend on the group.  Just 'putting out feelers' really, and can safely assume you'll have more fun in a normal game. Dunno, read your profile and thought I'd ask. I was looking for a group to test a character build, but finding none, thought to try dm'ing instead.
