Hello, I'm using a lot of Pathfinder 2e and Dungeons and Dragons 5e content. I was wondering if there is a way to replace the standard ability check programed into nearly all NPC and PC abilities of 1d20 with 2d8+1d6-2. Thank You in advance.

I think if you really want to shape the distribution, you can use the rollable tables, and change the weighting on each result.
