Name: Thexus Rymedis Age: 32 Gender: Male | He/Him Race: Tiefling (Bloodline of Glaysa) Class: Warlock (Celestial Patron) Backstory and disclaimer: the details can be tweaked to better suit the campaign world, so long as Thexus still has some sort of lifeform to protect. When Thexus was young, he became lost in a deep cavern system while looking for a type of mushroom that would aid in healing his parent's illness. A cave in trapped him for over a week, during which he nearly starved to death. As he ventured deeper he soon came into contact with monsters and struggled to survive. When a spider had him bound he cried out for help, truly desprate to save his family and live. This caught the attention of a Couatl who was nesting, nearing the end of her life span. She saved Thexus and brought him to her nest where she healed and took care of him. When Thexus finally woke, he begged for help in saving his parents. Alas, they passed while he was in the cave. Rymedis comforts Thexus and offers to take care of him until he reaches maturity. She shape-shifts into a tiefling woman and moves into Thexus' home. Rymedis is killed while protecting Thexus from a monster attack, and bestows her remaining powers onto him and tasks him with protecting her egg which may take decades to hatch. Thexus travels the world in the hopes of honing his powers to be a good parent when his sibling hatches.
