Change colour of macro buttons sent to chat

Hi team,  I feel a dumb question but is there anyway to change the colour of a button I've made to call a macro used through an action or spell card? Playing 5e if that makes a difference. I checked the forums and I'm not keen to use stylus effects because I want everyone to be able to see the change.  Just wanting to ditch the white writing on pink background.  Hopefully this is an easy one! Thanks in advance!

You can't change the default without using a custom script, or modify the character sheet's rolltemplate if you are creating your own sheet.

If you are referencing Chat Menus, yes you can change the color. But, we would need to see the macro you are using to be sure. 

Changing button styles in chat is introduced in this trick . This change affects buttons in chat and is visible to all players.

If you are using a Chat Menu (where you click a link in the chat window) then you'd need to change the Mod script code that is outputting the chat menu. If you have a macro that is outputting the chat menu, then you'd need to use the HTML Styles in Chat trick that keithcurtis posted. If you are simply talking about changing the color of a button on the Macrobar, then you can change that by right-clicking on the button. If you want to change the color of a Token Action button, then the only way to change the color is by using Stylus. We'll need more info to help you, and screenshots would be helpful.
