Please take a screenshot of the settings tab (cog next to spells).  Note: you should be able to screenshot via the print screen key on your keyboard, then pasting here.
I've fixed it by going into abilities and attributes, and its fine for a bit but then it eventually goes back to that exact number each time, and only on that character.

Alright then, not sure what other help I can provide without trying to fix a copy of the character.  Your next stop would be to contact the Devs via the Help Center . The forums are primarily for users helping users.

I don't play 5E, so my understanding might not be the best on how all the sheet modifiers work.  I would check inventory items to be sure nothing is set up to affect constitution.  I know there is some way that magic items can affect stats, so I would start there.  The fact that the sheet resets to that higher value points to something like that, because any time the sheetworker gets triggered that checks all those modifiers, it will overwrite your manual edit.  I know I have seen something like this on the forums before, but I think it was over a year ago.  If I can find it, I will post a link.
a little bit of messing with the items helped us come to the realization it was the item Staff of the Adder causing it. thanks for the help in any case.
