Xerem is a very strange man indeed. He was once apart of fishermen and boaters until he discovered the shrine of the ancient prophet Sykes. This shrine was nothing like Xerem had ever seen before and, it changed his life forever. Sitting upon the shrine was a tome inscribed in strange runes and symbols. He doubted anyone could read them. As he lifted the book he was enveloped in a chilling aura. He later found out it was the aura of Sykes who was the prophet and leader of a mysterious group who guarded an artifact called the Ice Barrier. As he flipped through the ancient script he found he could actually make sense of the symbols and runes! But, once he finished reading a line, scales began to grow quickly over his back and down his limbs and his eyes shaped to that of a cat's. Returning from the shrine, tome in hand and, what seemed to be a new personality. He wore no shirt after that, showing off his scales and was unaffected by the cold as well as loved the water. He was soon thrown out of his tribe though, his fellow tribesmen called him heinous things and branded him a monster. Years later as he read the book he learned the powerful magic of Ice and Water. He could soon create massive gysers from the ground and simply walk through water as if he were on land! Later on he wandered into a village of which he heard there was a "sea monster" terrorizing and wanted to see if he could talk to it. This didn't turn out to be the case so he had to freeze the beast and put it on display as the village's wonder of the world. For this we was awarded with the village's most prized artifact, the Wraps of Izar. Of which he enchanted to have the sleeves and skirt see through and renamed it the Icy Wraps.
